UNITED STATES / DP-Still in a happy mood because it received three prestigious awards from renowned magazines in America, the BMW F 800 GS fourth again gained recognition as the Best On-Off Road Bike in America by Motorcycle.com, a leading motorcycle enthusiast website with 75,000 subscribers.

Earlier this year, BMW F 800 GS has been named as the Motorcycle of the Year version of Rider Magazine, Best Dual Sport Bike 2009 from Cycle Word and Best Adventure Bike by Motorcyclist magazine.

Earlier in its first annual award, Best Of Motorcycle.com give to BMW Motorrad to the R 1200 RT as Best Touring Bike 2009, the BMW K 1300 GT as the Best Sport Touring Bike, while the F 800 ST also received honors for Best Sport Touring Bike.
